I have just updated my website with new pictures.

Have a look around and enjoy the new kids pictures for Drappa Dot and Green Cotton,  the fashion pictures for Drappa Dot Deluxe and be tempted for eating sushi while looking at the new pictures for Sushi+

New pictures for Drappa Dot Deluxe

I have had the honor to help Drappa Dot with rebranding the companys new image identity.

We created 4 strong image pictures with inspiration from the theme “Folklore Fairytale”

All the pictures have a diffuse mood, that I have created with just the daylight and my favorite photographer trick.

Shooting ballet

As a photographer I have a big fascination of the human body, and how it is possible to create different shapes and expressions. Therefore I really enjoy working with dancers, because they are in such a great control over their body.

I got the chance to work with a very talented young ballet dancer Adam Kirkham from the Peter Schaufuss Ballet, as I did his new pr. pictures.

When you are shooting dance pictures, it is a lot about timing to get the jump and movements in the right second. The trick is to understand every little bit of the move, so you can be a step forward the dancer when you press the shutter.

New model pictures

Since Nanna was so kind to help me with my Tiroler picture, I also did some model shoots of her.

I wanted to make the pictures warm and romantic, and to create the blurry effect I used the good old trick, a silk stocking in front of the lens.
So it is not some advanced photoshop trick that create the look, it is just a simple stocking and a minimum of retouching.

We want Tiroler music back to Aarhus Festival

During the festival week of Aarhus, GRiB! cooperate with one of the biggest newspapers in Denmark “Jyllands Posten”
Everyday we create a visual reportage / collage over the festival theme “The future is near” Together with Mikkel Bech from BechBox, I have create a picture over the music from Tirol. Every year there has been a tent playing Tiroler music, but this year it is gone. We want the tent back to the festival, and we want to show how a real Tiroler girl looks in 2050.

GRiB! created the futures election posters

In 2006 I founded the network group GRiB! together with Sidsel Gaustadnes from Spagat. GRiB! is a group for smaller companies in Aarhus, there is working with visual communication, and includes graphic design, web design, photography ect.

Together with the Aarhus Festival week we have created the futures election posters. We got together for a 24 hours workshop, where we brainstormed over new ideas, had lot of fun, did a perfect barbecue and drank a beer or two. The results is 3 graphic posters with an eyecatching catchline and 3 videos with a political statement. You will receive the videos on your cellphone if you sent a text to 1231 saying “Vid fis”,”Vid pap” or “Vid pung”. The video service is kindly sponsored by MoBloom. The actor in the video is Ivan Hvam and it is filmed by Kristian Kettner.

A week with Antoine D´Agata

The week with Antoine was a emotional journey that ended with a flu and a lost of half a week. But it is always inspiring to met such a passionated photographer as Antoine, who is living for his art and pictures.
I joined the workshop in hope of getting back to documentary photography, and I started up a little project from a fairground in Copenhagen called Bakken. I only managed to start the projects, then the flu got me and sent me to bed. But I will probably continue the project over the next year.
